I am in need of quality buell service in central florida. Im am sick and tired of all the B.S. with Sanford HD/Buell. There service depart has only made my bike worse. They have left old parts on my bike under the seat, left out bolts, broke my oil cooler, put scratches in my triple clamps, cross threaded bolts and have still yet to fix my Bike!! This is the 5th time I am having a leak from my rear rocker box area, they said its all fixed...Oh and when i got it back this last time, it was a quart low on oil and the "new" oil filter they put on was dented in the front.
If someone could please help me and point me in the right direction to get my bike fixed. It is still under warranty.

A good place to start for Buell parts and service, is the sponsor section of this site.

Gainesville HD/Buell is very Buell friendly, and they are real nice folks. They are about two hours north of you.

Here is their web site:

Lakeland is good. Brandon tries (A+ for effort), but they still aren't sure what a Buell is.

All my experiences at Fletchers HD in Clearwater have been positive. One of the sales guy rides a Buell as does one of the service tech. The owner of the dealership is something like 82 or 83 and he still rides a Blast.

Kind of far for you to travel but Fletcher's a Buell friendly, well run dealership.

Gainesville H-D/Buell knows Buells!! Their Buell mechanic is top notch and rides a turbo XB that he built.

Come chat with the Buell owners at Barnie's in Baldwin Park on Wednesday evenings. Between all of us there's normally someone that can help fix any problems with your bike. Sam07 and I replaced the steering head bearings in mine which turned out to really be a two-man job.

When i go to Seminole only Jason aka Goober touches my bike. He is super nice and will talk to you about concerns. The new service manager Paul is turning that place around.

Seminole apparently is going to "fix" it right this time. I made sure im getting my lost time paid back in return.
I just wish all the other places werent so far away. Lakeland is the next closest but it dont seem like they are the greatest either.
Cant wait till I get outta FL and back to wisconsin.....

Isn't MMI in Orlando, Florida? I think there are Buell mechanics in training there. I toured that place when I became a Rider's Edge Instructor in 2001. You might want to check with MMI K

Yes,MMI is here in orlando, but they are a school and dont work anything but the training aids. I have the skills to fix it myself but it is under warranty yet and I do not have the garage space, tools, supplies, and the time. Now that I think about it, i woulda been better off if I did it myself in the first place.

Wow Ben782, I'm new to Sanford and have taken my Ulysses XT to Seminole for a recall and the installation of my race pipe. Sorry to hear you're having problems with them. I can second Sam_07's comment about Goober. Good guy and will take the time to talk with you. No complaints about their service from me.

Just take back to Seminole HD and ask for Ken and explain him your problem(s), nice guy and while you there ask for James(parts dept.) and do the same, my experience with both of them has been great. Hope this help...........
