After a long break from bikes I bought a Buell Blast last summer just to get around in but now want an XB12scg. My question is which color is more rare the Translucent Hero Blue or the Translucent Cherry Bomb? | |||

Hmm I dont know buells in general are too rare to really make that kind of generalization... XB9SX I believe only comes in blue so that makes it more common there but in the XB12's I think hero blue is more rare. Just get whatever you like most! I like both, blue is more unique which is cool, I hate all black though. | |||

The City X also came in "Kick Ash" and now comes in red and blue. The blue XB12Scg will be more rare. 2009 is the first year for blue in the 12S size. I can't decide between the red or blue being the sexiest. I like the blue rims, but love the red air-intake cover. Don't count out the black. I didn't like it in pictures, but when I saw it in person, it was just evil. I have the white and blue 12R and it is damn sexy. (Message edited by xbgeorge on March 12, 2009) | |||

Im counting out black because of seeing it in person, looks hot in the European XB9SX pics I saw but in person the XB12Ss' were just to simple... Needs the flair of the red wheels, or atleast some rim tape. Thats another cool more unique combo, they make some wheels that are basically black with red rim tape but I'd just buy the all black for $500's less, use the money to buy red body work (or see if you can talk the dealer into selling you some real cheap if they keep the black) then add rim tape to the black wheels. Thats about as unique as you will get without doing something totally non stock and while keeping the colors matching. | |||

For the 12 hero blue is more rare but the 09 all black frame with the black plastics like this one are faster lol  | |||

Ha, your science is weak! Black absorbs light thus increasing its mass slowing it down. The largest source of light in our solar system is the sun. Our sun is yellow. More yellow = more light. I recall a right side scoop costing Buell a win in the Daytona 200. Well if I ever race mine I'll take that into consideration.Here in Oklahoma it sure helps the bike run cooler during Summer.Besides the fact I was making a joke about a OVERPRICED part that essentially only helps the looks UNLESS you are on the track and trying to tear your shit up.If I want to race a bike I'll buy a Japanese as I hate working on things. | |||
