Guell is correct. They are not drilled all the way through. They machine off some of the material on the heavy side to balance it.

Speaking of rotors:

Can I put a used blast rotor on my Uly?

Will it work with the uly stator. IIRC my 06 uly has a high output stator. Will the blast rotor magnets jive with the uly stator?

Could it bolt up for a part of a 9 primary conversion since the blast has the same gearing as the XB9?

All the 03-07 XBs have the same stator, unless you got some funky aftermarket one thats higher output. If yours is higher output, let me know as my expresso maker needs more juice.

I know in 08 the stator output dropped. That why I refered to it as hi-output.

Does any one know if the blast uses the same 03-07 XB stator?

My 03 9R parts manual says:
29971-02Y STATOR ASM
40241-02 ROTOR HOUSING

Same as Blast part #'s???

04 Blast parts book:

29967-89B Stator

32413-92A Rotor Sprocket Assembly w/ #4751

not much help I think, but that's what it says

Barker, I think what you need to check is the depth of the hub on the inside of the rotor. The XB and tuber Rotors differ in that way. See my post in the KV about super charging my S3T.

32413-92A Rotor Sprocket asm. w/4751

The 02 M2 parts book says the very same thing
