Maybe they can. I hope so. Do I think that they need badweb? Nope, but it would certainly help. I don't prefer to deal with anyone that calls anyone else a POS though. That said, if they'll come on over here and be civil, I may just pick one up. I would imagine that there are many in this boat that feel the same.

What they need to realize is that this board is full of "constructive criticism" and that everything will be picked apart to the fullest extent and it had better hold up. Apparently even the designers had better hold up. That's what buying a Buell is all about to me, why should Buell parts be any different?

Corey e-mailed me yesterday and said it was Brion who referred to me as POS. He also admitted "his bad" in getting Bubba angry. So maybe cooler heads can meet and be civil again...

Prof
let me clarify this, nobody made me mad, but the true colors shown thru. with that said and my dealings with both.....I'd besurprised if it was Brion that said that. I could be wrong but I doubt it.

His bad...do you think because of one off base email I would have given up on the testing of the product. well than you don't know me I have a high tolerance for crap and the last email was just the straw that broke the camels back.

I almost pulled out before that...so take that as you may. I am just trying to let you all know what is what....thats all no more no less

Just out of curiosity...has anyone contacted www.twminduction.com ? They have velocity stacks/airhorns for carbs and throttlebodies as well as a plethora of variety in sizes...

I have already been to the site and once I have available time I will be photoing the stock rubber stack and emailing the dimensions to them to get the cost of a metal one.

wyckedflesh-
I contacted them a while ago. They helped me build a system for an Impreza 2.5 rs so I contacted them again about the xb. They suggested a couple of ideas, but don't have anything that will bolt up. It would cost more to have them make something even with your own designing than it would to take a design to a machine shop. But they have top rate stuff for their applications.
They did suggest a full radius trumpet vs what was shown on the (corey's) trumpet. They also came up with a few other minor ideas that are probably important in full race looking for 1/10th hp gains, but wouldn't be financially practical for a private daily rider moto.

full radius trumpet
Do you mean more of a rounded lip at the top?
My bro-in-law is a machinist and said he would make this for me if I had the plans for one. Any help in building one would be helpful and possibly one for sale at a reasonable price. Hardwired: this is where you chime in. hint hint
