Time for a new weather thread,eh? ( a little canadian there,eh?) a bout -5 F, gentle northeast breeze here in homer ak. we had 4 hours of ice race practice on the lake today. i ran my sons little honda 80 around to scratch up the ice a bit. we put real low gearing on the 80, so it tops out at 38 MPH. it can out run all the cars through the corners, but cant keep up on the straights ( we run a 3/8 mile oval). the race car is all dialed in. blizzak ws-15 tires on front, and two screwed tires on rear. we are ready to kick some butt tomorrow. 2.5 liter iron duke, in a 1985 chevy celebrity, homebrewed methanol injection kicks in at %90 throttle. first points race starts tomorrow at 1PM the fullpower race team is ready to clean up track.

A few of us took a little jaunt to the surface of Mars the other day to check out the Spirit rover. It got up to about 16 degrees near the equator.
