I'm sure I've read it a bunch of times but can't remember today(thanks Maibock). Sound about right? Bike's now at the shop...still under warranty. Should I expect this again with the stock gaskets? Thanks.

My rear base started leaking around 5k...nothing else.

Got 14.7k before the rear went on mine I think I helped it tho lol 100mile trip and never went below triple digits on the slab. Covered under warranty of course.

yup, my rear base gasket started leaking around 7500 miles. More like weeping than leaking. I've got 10000 miles on it now and haven't fixed it yet. It runs too good to take apart LOL. I'll probably fix it next winter, unless it starts leaking more.

Just to boost your confidence, 17k on my first Uly, no leaks when the insurance company stole her from me. 32k on my current XB, again no leaks. : )

I put 35k on my firebolt with NOT one leak.

26k on the Uly with NOT one leak.

Froggy, in the end it's really a silly question...machines are machines they will do different things. Shit definetely does happen.
