Just my 2 Cents. I have the Crossroads bars and I love them. They are wider, lower, and more forward than stock. I think the bike handles a little better now and looks way better. I was shooting for more of a Cafe' style, not SuperMoto. Check out my profile to see what they look like.

Morgan,
Do you notice any increased shoulder steer with the wider bars?

Can you post a front and side view pic of your XB with the stock bars and the renthals for comparison?

Thanks Dana. Perhaps the pics would be best with you on the bike and a foot on the peg so we can see the change in your position on the bike.

Awwww heck, that may be too much work. Just wondering.

Now I know I'm no Craig Jones or Bubba Blackwell but they both run the Renthal bars. They must do something for them.

For what its worth. I had trouble finding alternative bars for my s3t, ended up using aluminum MX bars for a KX80. I removed the bolt on crossbrace and, presto instant custom street bars. Fit great, and are strong, no bending in a 40mph lay down to avoid a car.

I gave it shot and put the bars on but these that I have aren't going to work. The bend is wrong for the controls to work.So the hunt goes on.

Bill the bars weren't going to work unless I made longer cables and front brake line.Otherwise they would of worked. They did look real cool on the bike.

Brake and Clutch no big deal, but the throttle set up is tricky.

Couldn't you get a little extra by clipping a wire tie on the bundle and re-routing a line or two. Is the usual trick, but I am clueless on a Buell.

well ..I will do what I can as far as a pic ..they are the same width but they dont bend back as far, basically they are straighter than stock, so you lean alittle more forward, I dont know if that explains it or not ... it has been tooo damn cold here to do anything but I will do what I can maybe a side by side pic or something.

When I looked at those prices I thought theres like 3 pair that interest me.So for like 55.00 I could buy all 3 and it still wouldn't be as much as say a pair of Renthals.

just as an FYI the clubman bars listed in Spyder12's link will not fit the XB Lightning models. I tried the set I have already but they are too narrow in the center and even if that fit the outside pull back at the ends cuts down on turning radius before contacting the frame/tank box way too much.
