Just an off the wall question. New winter performance mods include: Open air box, rerouted breather hoses with catch can, and a Twin Tec Twin Tuner. In regards to the Twin Tuner I spoke with Twin Tec and they said to set all of the positions at 5 (since the bike will be lean), minus position 9, set that at 2 or 3, just until I get the bike on the dyno. So my question is, is this bike going to start up in the spring after it's been sitting for so long with these mods? Im sure it's going to run like sh!t until the ECM relearns. I forgot to ask Twin Tec if it's possible to set all positions at 0, so it's not producing any input. Just so it's not too rich at first, and then start fouling plugs (I also sprayed fogging oil into each cylinder for storage, so when I fire her up my plugs are going to get pretty wet). I'm sure this is possible?

Also I figure it's a good idea to run the bike with the open air box and with the hoses rerouted so the ECM relearns before I bring it in for the dyno. Am I right on this?

I can't forecast when the weather is going to be nice enough to ride, thus when I'll pull it out of storage, and then set an appointment for the dyno.

I know this is probably not what you want to hear but I would suggest that you start it up for the first time after winter without any mods. Then after a good warm up / ride, install your new parts and take it right to the dealer for a tune. I am thinking about a remus powerizer since I can't find a dyno guy local here in Detroit and I want to start it up first / inspect plugs etc, and then do the install. Just my $.02

I had my stuff put on then dynoed. I will have it dynoed again when it gets warmer to make sure everything is still ok. From what I got from Twintec, is that with the numbers at zero its the same as not having a tuner. I would say do it all at once when you can have it dynoed and tunned right. To nice of a toy.
