Went to price some Strada tires today and was told that Buell will no longer be carrying them. Actually, the parts guy showed me the screen and it said no longer used.

Was hoping to get a set for Spring, does anybody know anything about this?

You should be able to can get a set elsewhere, strange that you can't get them through Buell though. OTOH, I can't imagine Pirelli is too far behind on a redo of the compound to match it's Metzeler brother.

Plenty in stock at Dennis Kirk

I haven't heard anything of them being discontinued. I wonder how this affects the XT?

Yea. I was told the Syncs were gone by a Buell dealer. I take EVERYTHING they say with a grain of salt anymore.

BTW somehow Buell is still using the Syncs on the Uly a year AFTER the were "discontinued"!

Only thing I can think is that the part number changed, and their system dosen't show the new part number.

I don't know if it means anything, I went to Latus Harleys site and another dealers site and punched in the Strada's part numbers that I got off buell.com, and the front wont show up, but the rear is fine.
According to Buell.com
G150A.1AM Diablo Strada 120/70ZR17 - 17” Front $151.95
G0350A.1AM Diablo Strada 180/55ZR17 - 17” Rear $194.95

Latus:
Product ID: G0350A.1AM
DIABLO STRADA 180/55ZR17 BW
Details
DIABLO STRADA 180/55ZR17 BW
List Price: $194.95
Price: $194.95 Out of Stock

Front just comes up as "Sorry, no products matched your search."

Don't know how Buell part numbers work but the parts guy here had to take out the first A in the Strada part numbers to find them (G150.1AM, G0350.1AM).

No front was available in North America, two rears were available.

Like I said, no problem with the dealership, he was showing me the screen through all this.

I have to agree. They to date are my least favorite tire. They compared well with the Bias-ply tires on my Honda.
