I thought others might find this helpful. I needed to lift my bike to change out the front tire. This is my first Buell and I did not have scissor jack and could not find one at any store in Denver, and the bike is kind of unstable on the stand anyway. So I made a cheap stand out of 2x4s and lifted the front with a front fork stand. I just used rope to stabilize the bike, but I am good with knots. If you are not, a ratchet strap would be easier.

Cool idea on da cheap Ranger.

I use a factory Ford jack under the muffler for a front stand.
