Water in the gas will act like that. Gas line anti freeze may clean it right up.

just to make me feel better, everyone knows you dont need to pull the pump to drain the tank right? there is a little allen bolt at the bottom of the fuel pump base that is used to drain the fuel.

odds are it could have fouled a plug while trying to get cranked up after being run dry. plus if you cranked it for awhile even a bit of a low battery seems to make fouling a plug easier

Sounds like bad gas or 2 cycle gas. Sounds more like 2 stroke gas since it is smoking. To just drain the gas might not be enough. With oil going through the system you may have gunked up your plugs also. You may want to clean them up real good or just replace them also.
Ha! I guess I should have read all the entries above... looks like they hit on what I said also..

UPDATE!!!!

I drained the crap that was in it out and put a fresh tank of premium with O2 sensor friendly injector cleaner. I got it started but it sounds like a$$. It use to idle about 1,050-1,100 and now it sits around 800rpm.

When i ride it, it feels like i have about 30hp at MOST. I'm about to head to Bigg's and buy new spark plugs for it. If there is anything else that it could be, please let me know.

FYI, i'm taking the bike to the dealership to pick the plugs up so i can just run it for awhile and see if that helps. any more help on what else it might be would be great. I just dont want my baby to be in this state any more. and it's still my only mode of transportation

BIKE FIXED!!!!!

Took it to the dealership and one of the guys there took it for a little test ride and right away told me,'your only running on your rear cylinder'. So, 30 minutes and $39 later they took the front plug out and replaced it and reset my TPS and everything. She is purring like a champ again.....oh, and the plug.....here's a picture to show what is wrong with it

Spark Plug

Dealership Dude:"Did you drop the spark plug before you put it in the bike?"

Me:"No, took it straight from the box and made sure the gap was right and then put it in the bike."

Dealership Dude:*holds up spark plug*"This is what it looked like when we took it out."

The thing was smashed down....so it wasnt fouled....it was DESTROYED!!!

Any idea of what might have done this?

If it was the correct plug, I dunno. If it was the wrong plug, stuck in the cylinder too far, maybe hit the piston and mashed it together. (Buddy of mine had a 4 wheeler, stuck the wrong plug in and it mashed it like that.)
