What did you use to polish the header? I bought some metal polish and it did nothing. Thanks!

Sfinton- 100, 200, 400, 600 grit sand paper, then a medium grade polishing wheel with tripoli compound.

How long did it take you to polish the header? Does anyone know how long it will last or is it something you have to stay on every month?

Sfinton- a good 2 hours or so is all it took, as far it lasting. it wont stay silver if thats what your asking, but the glossy finish isnt going anywhere fast.

oxygen, ekass,- good idea on the forks!
