Misato-

I've got some questions reguarding the polishing you did on your XB. I was looking at your web page with all your mods and it got me to thinking. I was wondering what products you got from Eastwood? Did you get one of the polishing kits? What grit sizes did you use to take the paint off?
Also, when you modified your tale section, you whacked of the cheez grater correct? What did you use to cut it? If you did cut it off and it was not an aftermarket part where did you get the blinkers? I like that you relocated the license light. I'm still not sure if I want to cut it off or look for a good aftermarket tail, in case I want to change it back to stock for some reason. I saw a tail section with the double round tail lights on the Trojan web site. It was made of fibreglass though, don't know if I'm crazy about that. If any one knows of any other tail section options, fender eliminators, or just any good advice let me know.

Thanx Jason

I bought the alum. polish kit.

I went down to 180 to take off the powder coating before I started using the stripper.

I used a cut off wheel to whack the tail off, then smooth the cuts out(180+)

lockhartphillips blinkers (cycle gear)

American Sport Bike has a tail section also

Where might someone get such a kit (alum. polish kit). Can you also be a bit more specific on the process. I couldn't even polish my boots right in the military.

Try here, this is where Misato got his stuff. They also inculde videos for polishing and are great at answering questions about prep and care and feeding of your polished metals.
