Dave - My parts arrived yesterday, thank you. You did a great job in the packaging, all parts arrived in the proper number of pieces. Thank you for taking the time to photocopy the parts manuals and them to me, it helped me a great deal. One thing I noted that was kinda funny, next time your in the shop take a look at it. The bolt that was missing/incorrectly ordered... The XB9S have those 2 bolts already in place. I was thinking of just using them over (so I didnt need to order them in the first place is what I was thinking). Let me know if concur or not. Maybe Gonen can shed some insight on this if he reads the trhead. The 2 long screws that bolt the fairing support bracket to the bike on the stem, XB9's already have them on there. Btw.. Coffee guuuuuuddddddd. Posting with no coffeee baaaaadddd I havent spoken to DaveS, I have spoken to Bubba. Now, being from Texas,well Bubba sounds like "one of us" country boys. DaveS, well hell aint the folks from Iowa considered Yankees? | ||

Phil Those may be the exact ones. They don't show them in the lighting parts manual but I believe you are correct. See we can all learn something. good eyes. I never would have seen that. always remember...beauty and brains. so since dave is the good looking one...that leaves me as the brainy one.hahahahah Plus I am a yankee also, the great state of Indiana, but it was the portion close to kentucky so that might explain the accent. and my 12th cousin was born in what is now salsbury, NC at that time it was virgina. But there is a famous trail that leads north. Its called the Daniel Boone trail. So I went backwards from which way he went. he went north I went south. so in a round about fashion I guess I am sorta southern. lets see pics when you go it all together. |
