I highly recommend the Remus as there is no manual tuning required just plugs into exsisting harness Took about 30 minuites to install and all i can say its like riding a completely different bike so smooth and very reponsive no popping( remus has a micro processor that moinitors contantly therefore the bike always gets the right amount of fuel / air ratio ) hense the bike performing well all the time.

Artic,
Start a thread on this. Twin Tec vs the Remus. Im interested also. Also do you remember the guy that posted recently in regards to having his Buell with a Twin Tec dynoed at Hals. I want to ask him some questions, can't find the post.

08_xbss- How long did it take to get it once ordered.

Boney_ I started a thread for that a few days ago. Got some good feedback on the Daytona. Also I dont see anything wrong with the Powerizer. This is not making my decision easy.

Artic,

Whats the link to your thread? The problem with the Remus is that there isn't a lot of feedback on it, plus it makes me think, what can it really do without a dyno? I dont know, I get myself all worked up in regards to my bike running too lean with the mods that I have done. Some say I'll be fine, but I just want to be 100% sure. Plus the extra HP is a plus. I just want the best for my bike... Im in Milwaukee so Hals is my dealer as the Twin Tec . .

Here is info from Trojon Site

Now available from Remus, the quality Austrian exhaust manufacturer, the Remus Powerizer is the easiest to use of all the available fuel injection controllers. Simply plug and play, with no adjustments being necessary. This unit plugs into your stock wiring harness between the standard (or race kit) ECU and the injectors. The fast microprocessor in the REMUS Powerizer analyses continuously and in real time load, RPM and injector duration, and automatically adjusts for optimum fuelling. Ideal when fitting aftermarket exhausts and airbox solutions to ensure perfect fuelling throughout the rev range, without the need to make manual adjustments or set up on a dyno. Includes full wiring and instructions. Available for all XB9 & XB12 models 2002-present.

Now available to fit 2008 on Buell XB models

Hey Schmitty,I got a twin-tec tuner from Hals, had it tuned and had problems. I had mid-range power cuts (about 3400 rpm, 63mph or so and engine light flashes). Could you post what numbers you have in parameters 1-9? It would be appreciated. Thanks.
Marcus

I took it out. The guy who tuned it for me did the advanced tune, not just the pots. The people at Hals told me that was the problem and that should I be up for a roadtrip (I'm in Mpls) they would tune it correctly.

So Hals said they should not have done the advanced tune?

Pretty much...call Hal's and ask to speak with Bud Curtis. He's the man to talk with and will go out of his way to help you. I can't say enough good things about the quality of service there. Tell him Marc from Mpls says hello!

Artic,
I was just looking at your profile page and noticed that you don't have any engine mods listed. May I ask, what is your reasoning behind getting a Twin Tec?

My brother put his old race pipe on it for me one day. So I thought now I have no excuse why I cant do the tuner and filter now.
