So...what did you get? Anything fun for the bike? I got a set of black Kellerman Micro1000's for the front of my bike, a set of Traction grips (badly needed after a recent run from Daytona Beach to Atlanta in sub-50° weather with the heated grips on high for the entire 8 hour run!), and a new 26" lcd for the bedroom... |

My girlfriend rocks, I got a set of Darkhorse Ecosliders, a Darkhorse license plate bracket and FINALLY a service manual! Best part is we cheated and did christmas early so I got to chop the tail and put that bracket on last weekend, so now on christmas day i get to just relax and admire my SS's freshly trimmed backside. I'll have to wash my bike and take some pictures, then make somebody once again explain to somebody else how to post pictures on the intronet... |

Garmin Zumo 450! And w/my virtual lack of tech knowledge, getting to use it may be a chore, but will be fun to do. And the wife got a Yamaha SR 500. MSF, here we come. |

I had an SR500 when they were new, I bought it from a guy that couldn't start it. Did not have electric start. Turned out that someone had changed jets on it and it was way too rich, so when cold it started perfectly without a choke but once warm it would immediately flood. Got it real cheap. Great bike great handler and very well balanced. I made it into a cafe racer when no one knew what that was. I put on clubman bars, a little fiberglass quarter fairing and it looked great. Hope she enjoys it and definitely send her to a MSF class. You have no idea how many times my MSF and Advanced MSF classes that I took 20+ years ago have saved my bacon. And a great side effect is that it made me a very good car driver. |

Mxer83 I'm very honored. Greg was going to give me a hand scoping out a 12R to replace my 9R race bike this winter. Never in a million years did I think it would be his bike I'd end up with. Win lose or draw, I will always be proud to ride this bike. And I;ll do whatever it takes to keep it going and get it on the podium this coming season. That's my Christmas gift to Greg.
