well merry friggin christmas to the lonely buell salesman out there that are trying to give good service to all.
But alas the warehouse for parts and distribution is filled up with incompetent boobs of late.
first I apologize to BIKERGEEK...they sent the wrong parts.
PHIL in austin...sorry they sent the wrong parts.

to Danny at modesto Buell thanks for calling me and telling me that the streetfighter seat I ordered in november to come to my shop in North carolina is now in Californina. and not the 2 seats I ordered but 1. god knows where the other one went.

I have checked my orders and I ordered the right numbers and they send me the wrong crap. I don't know if they've hired temps or somebody is learning their job up there. But it is screwing with my customer service. and we all know how pissed off I get at the all mighty powerful HD/BUELL when their stupidty gets in my way of doing my job right.

I know none of this does no good, especially that they have their 2 weeks off up there for the holidays so me trying to reorder any time soon is on hold.I hope they enjoy their christmas break.

I know I'll be back here on saturday trying to get things done while they are still picking turkey out of their asses and drinking more liquor and loosing more brain cells that they more than obviously can't afford to lose.

hey if anybody with any power up there can read this tell the warehouse people to get it right or your gonna move the operation to mexico and they will no longer be able to screw up there jobs for your company.

what is so friggin hard about doing your job right.

I am sorry 3 mistakes in 3 weeks is a little over board, because it probably didn't just happen to me so how many othere mistakes did they make.

listen closely here......

put down the bong and move away slowly

Bubba - Hang Loose Brother :)

I feel your pain - lots of that happening at work for me as well.

I hope one of Santa Buell's little helpers see and realize how much The Good Guys like you, Dave, Danny Darkside and all the other competent, hard working Buell enthusiasts mean to alleviate the shortcomings of the HD dealership experience - and sends you all a huge basket of your favorite snack/beverage. 'cause you sure all deserve it.

Have a Merry and a Happy

i'm hoping since you didn't mention my parts all is well, or perhaps it's SO bad you don't even wanna go there.

i feel for you man, i've had my share of mix ups with ordering parts from buell, but i think it was all my local dealer's fault....which is why i turned to you. i think i can speak for everyone who's gone through you that we understand and still really appreciate the extra effort you've taken to help us out.

even if my parts are delayed, no worries, would never hold you responsible.

Well between sending Bubba's parts to the wrong end of the country and having parts I need on backorder.
Jeez, who would've thunk that people would want XB12 air box lids for their 9s? Or have ALL the parts available to swap to the 04 belt system?

By the way, factory guys, I'll take Diet Pepsi as my beverage of choice.

Ride to the edge!

A Belgian Ale for me thanks. Brand name is Delerium, the real champagne of bottled beers!

Kaese - As in Delerium Tremens? Thats their 10% if I remember correctly. Im a big fan of the Belgian Ales myself.
Ever try a beer called "The Reverend"? Its a microbrew out of Colorado, pretty good stuff. 2 is my limit. Just found an anniversary Abey at my local shop, that stuff is pretty good also.

Delerium Tremens is the one, had to check the alcohol content, verified as 8.5%. Could be that Texas allows more. Found another from Colorado that just appeared, Trippel from the NewBelgianAle.com. Has the same taste as Tremens, but not as rich and 1/3 the price. I think I have seen the Reverend, will try it.

If it is classified as a "micro or specialty brew" they are allowed up to 14% iirc. Before anyone says the Sam Adam's Triple Bock (24% iirc)is higher then that, your correct, but it is classified as a Barley Wine which has a different set of rules :D

From the Ponca Report:

...down a little known hallway, deep within the bowels of the Harley Davidson corporate headquarters in Milwaukee, there is a non-descript metal door with a bakelite label that reads, "Department 84."

Behind this door, a bank of billet adorned computer screens are manned 24 hours a day by recent University of Wisconsin Computer Science graduates. Their primary mission is to monitor the Internet for potential Harley Davidson copyright infringements and postings from disgruntled employees and customers.

A secondary mission of the mysterious Department 84 is to engage in counter-insurgency tactics...the most outrageous of which was the creation of the infamous myBuell.com website. The site was constructed with the sole intent of focusing otherwise scattered anti-Buell sentiment in one easily monitored and managed location.

The second phase of the operation involved the establishment of a west coast forum, which would initially be pro-Buell, but would be manipulated on a pre-determined schedule to acquire an anti-Buell bias, drawing the internet chat-inclined insurgents into one location where their real-time comments and activities could be more easily monitored.

It has been rumored that Department 84 operatives have been assigned to otherwise innocuous positions within the H-D/Buell corporate structure in an attempt to ferret out potential malcontents. The strategies employed include the placement of seemingly inept stocking and shipping clerks in the parts warehouse. In this manner, the loyalty of sales people to the corporate structure under less-than-ideal circumstances can be measured.

Another strategy is to staff H-D/Buell dealerships with sales and service people who are seemingly uniformed and unmotivated as to the Buell product line, thus testing the effectiveness of Buell marketing tactics and the loyalty of existing customers.

Department 84 has also been implicated in the recent bankruptcy of the Indian Motorcycle Motorcycle Company and the selection of Elton John as the headliner at H-D's 100th anniversary
party. While the collapse of Indian was viewed as a example of the effectiveness of Dept. 84's clandestine operations, industry insiders are still perplexed by the choice of Elton John. It is suggested that the demographics of Dept. 84 operatives, rather than any complex anti-insurgency tactic, was responsible.

Developing...
