Has anyone experienced their engine stalling following very hard braking down to a stand still? Is this usual? Is there something that I can do to prevent this happening?

set your idle up to 1150 rpm. that should help it stay running.

Here is a dumb thought...

Isn't there a tilt indicator... to kill the engine on the XB if it goes down?

Could it come loose from it's mount... and rotated 90 degrees... and inertia is doing the rest during hard braking?

I thought I read though... the key had to be cycled on & off to restart the bike.

WAG (wild assed guess)

Yeah mine does this too, after VERY hard braking from a very high speed, kinda wallows then dies, Clutch and a little blipping right at the end sorts it out. Also I think Wyked is right it mainly happens when im lower on fuel.

Gruffs BAS couldnt rotate 90 degrees hes got an R and its jamed in above the headlight .
