What's a good price for a race kit install (all 3 pieces)? All the time would be wrapped up in the muffler and I can't imagine that would take more than an hour. Man I miss not having a garage - I'd do this myself in an afternoon with handtools.

Put on warm clothes, pick a dry day and do it yourself with hand tools. You can't beat the price....

You don't need a garage.
We've done many on the back porch.
The only thing you'll need to worry with is the TPS reset, unless of course you have the tool needed, then there's no reason to waste your hard earned $ on an install.

Why do you need a garage ... to remove a couple of giant Hose clamps holding the muffler on? Do it yourself and save a couple hundred $$$ in labor ... The ECM and K&N Filter take no more than 15 minutes and you can do it standing up.

I know you don't need a garage, it's just that I've got nowhere to work. I live in an apartment and not in a position to loose it because someone reported me. Maybe I'll try it 3AM/flashlight style and hope no one calls in a theft in progress

You are not allowed to work on a vehicle? I hate rules! Civil disobedience! Do it anyway. Tell people it broke down and you can't get it anywhere unless it at least runs.

Could you do the install at another buellers house?

+1 on what Sam said. Hit the BRAN. There should be someone close that is willing to help.

Maybe find a deserted parking lot. But I like the BRAN idea. If you're near me, don't hessitate...

As long as you have a way (or someone) to carry the pipe & tools it can be done anywhere.

Any parking lot would do.

If you need to have the dealer do a tps reset for you, I'd install the kit in the HD dealer's parking lot then roll it in for the tps reset after.
