Does anyone have any information about the arrow head shaped frame sliders that American Sport Bike carries? How are they attached, what are they made from are they easily changable? Do the work? My bike went down once causing the lower triple tree stop to shear off allowing the clipon to dent the frame in the same location that these are mounted. From my experience I doubt that that part of the frame will rub on the ground but could prevent the same thing that happened to me.

They are held on with epoxy. Should work good.
Probably not real easy to change.
They are made from some kind of plastic.

Dave,

Thanks for the info, I sure don't like the epoxy thing. If you mess them up it will probably ruin the paint just trying to get them off. Do you guys have the carbon fiber ones that Trojan Horse carries. Not the ones that cover the frame completely the ones that have the regular type of frame sliders attached to them. If you do could you tell me what supports the frame sliders. Is there some type of reinforcement under or in the carbon fiber?

Have to disagree with you on this one Dave. Those little heart shaped sliders are a joke. Way to small to be of any use, not enough surface to spread out the load of an impact. Go down & 2 things will probably happen. #1 you will get a gay heart shaped dent in your tank, & #2 that slider will shear off.

Brion, we just covered this topic a couple weeks ago also. The search feature here works great.
Heres a link to the discussion. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/32777/41000.html?1070668261

Yes, I have one set of the nylon bobbin/carbon ones left.
List price for the upper frame and the oil tank side of the swingarm set is 800.00
I will sell them for 720.00
