I'm dickering on a new '07, but the seat might be a bit high for me. Will the slightly lower seat of an "09 fit?

Hey Buellgrrrl, are you sure you wanna go there? Another Buell?

You know...all the problems you already have with Buell, you would think it would be an aversion to buying another one?

Or can you not find anything better out there?

The reasons I might buy another Buell are price and warranty. Buells aren't competitive in the marketplace on the basis of features or dealer service. However, discounted by at least 20% they become competitive on price. Buell offers the longest extended warranty in the business, though most dealers take their sweet time fixing the bikes. None the less, if I can buy the bike cheap and run the wheels off it for seven years that can give me a very low and predicable cost per mile.

I think you would have fewer problems with a new bike.

A new bike will be nice, but looks like it won't be a Buell. BTW, the dealer I was dickering with says he's dropping Buell. Then again, he dropped Buell a couple years ago too...

It snaps right in, the seat from the Scg will bring you down even closer. All a direct fit. Good to see you back on Buell.

The entire thread about buying Wholesale didnt go without its merits. A heated discussion is always better than dead silence. The XB is a nice ride, mines turning 27K this week.

Thanks Cityxslicker, but looks like the deal has died- the dealer and I are $1500 apart. He's giving me a story that Harley will take the bike back when he drops the Buell dealership for more than I'm offering him... I don't believe the franchise law in his state is that strong!
