Well after riding Honda, Kawa, Yamaha for 20+ years I made the move to a Buell. WOW was I missing out!! Picked up an 08 Hero Blue XB9SX! Love the bike. Not nearly as fast as my Vmax was but could out run in the twisties any day.

I do have a question for all of you. I tucked her away for winter and noticed a leak on the top of the rear cylinder. Same side as the oil tank. I am covered under warrenty but thought I could at least get some ideas from all of you.

Oh yea one more question. Anyone ever have the fuel injection fuse blow on them. Was stuck in a traffic jam and just I was getting off the interstate and she stopped running. The bike was getting really hot and just as the fan kicked in is when the fuse blew. Hope this isn't going to be a re-occuring problem.

Thanks Much!

Take it to the dealer while they are not busy. I mean if you wait till spring you may wait even longer. Welcome to Buell, I am also new and glad I'm not missing it.

I had an issue with blowing fuses just before my voltage regulator and stator took a dump.

check under the airbox. get down to the filter and see if oil is building up in there. my does and it just comes out the bottom and get on everything. When it starts to get on my pants then I know it's time for servicing...

Thanks for the welcomes and suggestions! Hope everyone had a good turkey day. Also looking to do some mods. Really thinking about picking up a Remus exhaust. Do many of you feel that ECM mappings are needed or could I simply slip on and go. After contacting the Trojan Horse they said that the stock ECM should map to the new exhaust after riding for at least 30 min
