Can't find the light thread that was up a couple days ago. But in that thread I posted how my piaa bulb blew out after only 3 or 4 days. well I finally had time to take it out and look. The bulb was fine. Now the plate it was on was all bubbled and weird looking and the spring clip was bent all weird.
So I called my local HD shop in Marin County and the parts guy actually said, "whats a firebolt?" Now the service guys there are cool, but damn I hate this the most about riding a buell. ANyways after explaining what I need, he said he would go and check and cal me back. that was at 10 am . Its almost 6 pm.
So there is my rant but back to the reason for my post. Any you guys with new bulbs have this problem ?
Thanks

is that shop also a Buell dealer? I have run into similar problems when finding a filter to change the oil when I called dealers that didn't carry Buells.

Yeah they are, I also would like to add that their head tech is a super savy guy, maybe or maybe not about buells but definitely about bike physics. Has cured any handling probs I have come with. Also does services nice. He rides a supercharges Yamaha cruiser. But it's the parts guy's that sit 12 feet away from a firebolt and a lightning that are dumb as a rock. Thats not nice, lets say unwilling to support or learn about products they sell...
