i have a new tank cover and i want to remove the X off my SX and put it on the new tank cover. what is the best way to go about doing so?

I have been wondering the same thing. I think it would be cool to have a cover with no "X" and "Buell" and use the Hillbilly F.A.S.T. system. Best Idea is using Dental floss like a small saw between the decal and cover.

i don't suggest trying this. The X is held on almost a adhesive like super glue. After I removed mine, I couldn't get the residue off without damaging the cover. If you find something that works, I'd love to know because I just glued mine back on : (
