I love the look of the new mesh jacket, Has anyone tried it out yet or own it? I already have a Icon mesh jacket but not really a fan of it.
How is this one for all riding temps and rain resistance? Im thinking of going leather but not very fond of the looks or cost of Buells leather.

Im 5'11' 180lbs What size?
Not sure if many places around central florida have it in stock to try it on

Is it that hot down there that you are getting a mesh jacket in winter? You just have to go and rub it in, jk.

I have the adventure jacket and I am about the same size as you, and the large fits perfect, if that helps you out at all.

Looks like a Joe Rocket jacket to me. I suggest you find out definitely who makes it and go to a place that sells mesh jackets from that company. Try a few of their jackets on to see what size works for and go from there.

Important to get to try it on. Nobody agrees on sizes. Tried so many jackets to find ones that fit.

Looks pretty good, though, and reasonably priced.

I've got one; it the most comfortable jacket I've owned.
The inside pockets are smart, the nylon lining is waterproof and if I want to be warmer I wear a polar fleece under it.

Mesh jacket! It's going to be in the 30's on my ride to work in the morning. I'm not looking forward to it.

I need some riding pants, but right now, i'm going to use thermal underwear(a must have), my work pants and a loose pair of jeans over that. It's not suppose to get this cold in Florida!

Definitely try it on! I'm a thin, tall guy and I like a 42 in fieldsheer jackets, but my chest measures 37 inches.

I bought the fieldsheer supersport textile jacket. The fit of this jacket is outstanding. I found it vents pretty good as well, even though some reviews say otherwise.

It's no mesh jacket though.

Tried a couple of riding pants, bought Joe Rocket Ballistic and later same day found out local dealer had the Buell adventure pants for about $70 cheaper. Took the Rockets back and bought the Buells.

They are really good, only downside is that they can't be put on/off without taking your boots off.

That's the same jacket I want.
No dealers in Cali have them - they're on backorder apparently.

Ben, you'll want to get a Large. I tried this jacket on in an XL and it was too big (I'm the same size as you) It is a very sweet jacket.

I called our local dealer and was told these are back ordered until Dec 20 and still wasn't sure if they'd get one in.

Wanted to buy for my hubby for a Christmas present, guess not

I saw the Buell mesh jacket today at Destination Daytona, looks good in person, I think the emblems are stamped on synthetic leather (kinda cheesey) and no back protector.
Come to think of it the black and orange Harley Davidson mesh jacket doesn't have one either.
It's Joe Rocket money without the protection.
I'd even buy one if it had the back protector and the "BUELL" patches were embroidered instead of stamped. I forgot to check if there was a pocket for the protector as I was in a bad frame of mind after I tried to buy a tail light lens and a shift rubber for my XB and found out I would have to order them prepaid and wait 7-10 days. D'oh!
Guess I'll take my $13.00 over to Seminole HD Buell and pick those items up.
