I run Pirelli Scorpion Syncs.. Fantastic tire all around. Great grip, good life, aggressive tread pattern and good for wet roads or some light dirt roads. |

Dunlop Roadsmarts are a new tire that has outstanding wet weather performance. It also promises great handling, and long life. Think of it as a sport touring Dunlop Qualifier, with an emphasis on wet weather roadholding. Here is a wet weather road test: http://www.motorcycle.com/products/dunlop-roadsmart-tire-review-75375.html (Message edited by Gentleman_jon on November 15, 2008) |

On my M2 Cyclone and my XB12Ss, I found the most confidence-inspiring wet weather tires I've EVER used on ANY motorcycle were the Metzeler Sportec M1s. I've never used the updated M3s, so I can't vouch for them however Metzeler does still sell the M1, and you can get them much cheaper than the M3 to boot. |

About to run the AVON Super Moto Rain tires. Will have a report once I get some miles on them. |

I have had excellent results with Conti Road Attacks in the wet and marginal results with Pirelli Corsa IIIs in the wet. Both stick like glue in the dry. Your results may vary! "I wanna go fast" Ricky Bobby (Message edited by Paint shaker on November 16, 2008) |

Interesting, I don't trust my III's nearly as much as the Syncs. The Corsa III's are just way more squirelly for me than the Syncs even when I had 8K I felt safer than my III's with 1500 miles on em. |

I love the Pilot Roads in the Wet. Actually they have done me well in just about every road condition including my first track day. My Corsa III's feel solid on dry ground but I have felt them slip more then once on questionable road conditions where my Roads never failed. Could just be coincident but I will be replacing my Corsa's with Roads 2. Plus they last 2X's longer. Best tire out there for street riding IMO. |

I've done track days in a surprise rain at Laguna Seca on Dunlop 220's... guess who passed everybody. I'm very impressed by all around performance of Dunlop's. Don't care for Bridgestones BT020 -- I only got 5,000 miles out of them and they have no road feel and horrible turn in. |

I'm with Sticks on this one. The Pirelli Syncs work just fine in wet conditions, the Corsa 3s not so much. Whatever magical compound makes the 3s so sticky on dry pavement also makes them slick like butter in the rain. |

If you want a sport tire, the Dunlop Q's work better cold or wet than the Pirellis Diablo's I was running. Both work great warm / dry. |
