I would have asked in the knowledge vault, but the traffic there is very slow.

Could someone look at the service and parts manuals for the '07 Lightnings and tell me if the STT is covered in there? I ask because there is no mention of that model in the '07 MOM I got with my bike. If the STT isn't in the '07 books I'm torn about which to get. My motor isn't an '08, but the rest would be the same. Don't want to buy both years if not needed.

I guess that is the bother of having a "unique" bike.

Being that the STT was a mid year release like the XT, they came out with revised manuals later. Check your part numbers, the revised ones have an "A" at the end.

Also to note, the STT is almost identical to the SS, with the only major difference being the suspension. So even if you got the old 07 books, you should be fine. The suspension setting charts are on Buell.com anyway : )

I have the manual right here, It has the STT in it, good thing too I have a STT! LOL So Froggy's right on thr money

Part Number is #99490-07YA

You do want that as there are differences in the fork rebuild but other than that it's just another XB12.

The suspension, of course, was my main concern.
