Use the words "common sense" once again in this thread and you'll own every patch in this box before me!

Okay, okay, I've probably typed that word as many times as you have patches in that box !!! Why do I think "guys" would use it anyway, they aren't known for having it !!

ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!! I'm with Brian, ride the wheels off of it and let things fall where they may. Like I said before, the chances are slim that there'll be a problem with the bike to begin with, and if there is there's an equally slim chance that you'll be denied service. Just remember to take the tape off the lights and Goo-Gone them to remove any evidence. Did you buy the damn thing to get the warranty or to have fun with it. I know what I bought mine for!

You werent actually expecting an anon to speak on this subject were you?

The last time an anon spoke up on something he shouldnt have, they showed him the door the next day.

Lets all ride our Buells, like they were made to be ridden.I dont think them breaking is an issue,I think them being wrecked may be though. My insurance,American Family, will deny any claim associated with any race, off road, type event. The real question is,if you do a track day,or Battle Trax, and your under warranty, and your bike breaks, who will have the INTEGRITY to tell Buell and your insurance company what happened? Most peoples Integrity is controlled by money, some lose it cheaply others it takes alittle more. The word Im thinking of is RESPONSIBILITY,you know that thing NOBODY wants to be associated with.If you do any race event-Track Day,Battlex Trax, and you break or wreck your bike----GROW UP,BE RESPONSIBLE,and let us know how it turns out.

Rich, its not a question of an accident being covered. The topic is basically this, Buell sponsors B-trax & puts on a couple track days. You participate in these events & they are well aware of it because you have to sign up. Further on down the road you end up with mechanical issues that "should" be covered by warranty, yet you have your dealer & Buell denying coverage because you "raced" your bike. Its never been an issue of an accident. I would never consider an accident something for Buell or your dealer to even warranty, thats an insurance issue.

Not all dealers would treat their customers this way, but if your local dealers that you "depend on"... & I use that phrase loosely... are not exactly on the friendliest terms with Buell owners & try to gouge you for every $$$ then watch out. The B-trax & track days could come back to bite you.

Dyna, you missed a couple steps in your otherwise concise and accurate description your "how to get your warranty turned off" process.

Those steps include lawyers, threats, ill will, generally high levels of annoyance, and pissing in every well at every opportunity.

I am getting what I wanted out of my Buell ownership experience. And given the way you seem to relish in this whole thing, it sounds like you are getting what you want out of yours as well.

IMHO, YMMV.

Dyna,
Your lack of genuine honesty on this subject is disappointing. Lesson learned, move on please.
