Alright, I got the Man to sign my XT-BOLT's frame during Homecoming.

The Man

Now, how do I protect the signature?

Is there some kind of clear tape sheeting that exists to cover and protect it?

I did nothing with his signature on the solo tail section of my S2 and now it looks like E Boli signed it, so I'd like to do all I can to preserve the signature on the XT-BOLT.

If it's a common material where you live, please keep in mind that in the hodunk town I live in it will not be available, so please provide a source if at all possible.

Thanks!

1. - Cut that section of the frame out and weld in a new bit.

2. - Never ride it. or

3. - Wrap it up in cling wrap and then never ride it.

A spray painter will be able to help you out with some advice on how to keep it cherry.

If you don't have one nearby then I suggest you get the same marker and try covering some writing with a can of clear lacquer to see if they react first.

3M makes a clear film in decal form, it's used on cars to protect the frt from stone chips, abrasion areas etc, it's the same type of material Buell uses on rub areas on your XB. its invisible and will protect the signature forever. any 3M film distributor will have it.
