I am, on the west side. I've seen a small handful of Buells out and about in various parts of town.

My father, I won't say old man cuz he isn't, is on the north side. Doesn't ride a Buell, but has the same mantality of the Buellers here on BWB. He uses one of the local internet groups, hook up, or meet up, something like that. Says he rides with some Buellers in the area.

Clear Lake here. I dont recommend riding in houston at all. It is just not fun. Too many idiots. Try heading out on alternate 90 and then snake trhough some of the back roads between 1-10 and 290. There are some great twisty and hilly roads out that way.

I'm right by Memorial park, 4 miles from downtown via Memorial drive. A nice, albeit extremely short commute to work but then I usually miss the traffic.

For a short trip we would head down 288 through Angleton to Surfside(haven't done this since Ike) and ride up to Galveston along the shore. Ever so slightly twisty, not a lot of traffic, and decent scenery.

Eat lunch at the Spot and head home on 45. About 160 miles roundtrip for us.

09xb--Houston is not a great bike town, but if you ride west, the terrain gets better once you cross the Brazos. Anyplace north of I-10, south of Lake Somerville and west of the Brazos will offer nice riding.

Try 1458 between Pattison and San Felipe for curves, but beware of the Law--it's a well known "racer road".

Forerunner--sounds like we're neighbors. I'm on Memorial just west of Shepherd.

Hey RT, you in Rice Military too? I'm at Birdsall.

I think we've exceeded the quota of Buell's for one neighborhood. : )
