I use the "Arrowbag" by Givi -- pretty nice, softbag setup roughly in the $125 range. The Givi bag has six zippered sections, one of which on each side is expandable w/ a zipper that increases the bag width. Previously used a "Rallypack" bag by Dowco (I think) that I purchased thru JC Whitney. The Dowco is not nearly so nice (dulls out in the sun pretty bad after one summer) but was good enough for a 5-day jaunt.

As a cheap bastard, I use 2 kayaking dry bags strapped to the grab strap and passenger pegs. $20 each, 100% waterproof, and your clothes will never smell like 400 miles of asphalt. :)
