Hey, this is Morgan (dblhaulxb9s). I just moved to Phoenix to attend Motorcycle Mechanics Institute for the next year and I am looking for some Buelligans to ride with. I am sure I will meet some people at school but I would love to hook up with some BadWebers too. Anyway, if you live in the area or are just passing through, give me a call or drop me an e-mail. Hope to see some of you in person.

Don from Prescott. It's about 80 miles north of Phoenix. Take 17N to Hwy 69W. You'll go through Prescott Valley and then Prescott. If you head through Prescott stay to the left when coming in and when you get to Montezuma St. take a left. Get fuel at the Woody's on the way out of town and head out "The Spars". Very twisty road for about 15-20 miles. After the twisties you'll get to the cutoff that will take you out towards Skull Valley. Take that one. In about 8 miles or so you'll come to a 3-way stop. Take a right and you'll be headed back to Prescott. Still twisty but faster. Great ride.

BTW - Black XB12R here.

Thanks for the posts everybody. I am back in Colorado right now for Thanksgiving but will be back in the land of sun tomorrow night. Brian, thanks for the encouragement. I plan on being at the top of my class, I am stubborn when I make up my mind. I will definitely be over at ASU, I have to have some eye candy.

Ilike and M1, we should hook up and do some riding soon. Give me a ring in a few days or drop me a note and we will roll. I am in the night classes so I can have days off if I am not working. Don't have a job yet, but that will change within the week. Thanks again.

Hey guys, I was thinking of maybe getting a group together this weekend for a ride. Maybe Apache Trail or maybe up through the twisties near Prescott. Let me know if this sounds good. I was thinking either Sat or Sun in the not so early morning.

Hey guys, Phoenix Bueller here. 2004 XB12R. Manage EagleRider Motorcycle Rentals of Phoenix. We're actually in Scottsdale though. Love to go for a ride with a bunch of Buelligans. Only know one dude with a 2003 XB9S Turned into a 12 though. Nallin's did the work. It sounds pissed! Give me a shout, we'll go for a ride. December is supposed to warmer than normal this year!

Well there seems to be some interest. I live in N. Scottsdale and ride an 03 xb9s. Any way, we should plan on meeting somewhere for breakfast then riding on Sunday. Respond if you can do it. Even you folks out of town, maybe we could meet you guys along the way. I was thinking about Prescott Via Wickenburg way or whatever that is called. Supposed to be really twisty and fun. I know that it might rain on Sunday but maybe not. E-mail me if you can make it.

Brian,
I will be doing some serious ass busting, I have nothing else to do but work and ride. My wife is back home in Gunnison until further notice. The best news is that I might be getting a job at Hacienda Harley Buell. Probably just a sales porter, but it would be a foot in the door. I will let you know if that works out.

All AZ buellers, let's go Sunday. We can meet at my Harley rental shop at Scottsdale and Thomas. EagleRider is the name of the shop. We can do the 89 up to Prescott or something. I'm tired of riding with HD's though. They can't keep up in the corners!! Let me know...

AZ,
I will be there. What time do you think we should do this. I was thinking around 10 ish. Earlier if need be. I haven't done that whole ride, how long does it take. Anyway, I am glad this is working out, can't wait to meet all of you.

Morgan

PS, should we do Coffee and donuts some where before?

Coffee and donuts are a must! The whole ride takes a good 5 hours or so. 10:30 is perfect. That way we can get a little extra shut eye and the sun will heat things up a bit as well. The shop is at 2945 N. Scottsdale Rd.. It is just north of Thomas Rd., in a complex called Plaza 777. All Phoenix Buell owners must attend!! Lemme know...

Greg,
I will be there ready to rock. Is there a donut shop close by? Should we meet a little early to do the donuts? I am psyched.

Damn I'd like to go..... I don't have a license plate yet though :). I do have proof of insurance and a purchase agreement. I only ride it around here (Prescott) because I know all the cops from Jiu-Jitsu practice. I suppose I could meet you all in Wickenburg though. I am guessing your route from Wickenburg will be taking 89 to Prescott then 89A through Jerome to 17 then south back to PHX?

Just FYI though, If you do go 89A to 17, that particular route doesn't have a lot of guardrails and the road itself isn't in REALLY good shape like 89 from Wilhoit to Prescott is. I'm not saying it's horrible as such, just be careful.

At any rate, If you're going through Wickenburg, lemme know when to be there.

I won't be able to make it this Sunday but will in the future. Check out the tatoo shop right next to Eaglerider, I was there last night. Cleanest, most upscale tatoo parlor I've ever seen. Enjoy the ride, it's a good one.

10:00 am sunday then at EagleRider. We can grab some krispy kremes just down the road... everyone interested, be here at 10:00. Probably just make it to prescott, then turn around and come back the same way. We should be in wickenburg just b4 noon. Should be a great time!

I'll try to be there about 11:30, I may just head for phoenix the same route you are headed up here and meet you in the middle somewhere. Sooo.. if you pick up a stray black XB12R w/ no plate along the way, it's probably me :). If I end up passing you and turning around to come back I'll just tail the pack until we stop somewhere.
