What the hell just happened over night? I went for a ride with my GF on Friday afternoon and everything was great, well as much as it can be with a 09. Then Saturday morning I went to start the bike to bring it to storage and first it took about 20 tries to get it to start(almost killed the battery) and then it transformed itself into a blast, would only run on the rear cylinder.

Sounds like a fouled plug. Also could be the plug wires, its possible they got melted or got chaffed against the engine.

Well it`s at the dealer for now and I hope it`s just the plug wire, since I really start to loose faith on my bike; so far it`s been problem after problem and all I want is to be able to ride it like it`s supposed to be ridden.

Yes, because one person having an issue with their bike, an issue that sounds like a common issue with the bikes, it is some mysterious problem introduced into the 09 models and we will never know what causes it.

I do not believe buells are as bad as some may believe. I have read about a ton of 08-09 guys having problems but i believe it is the dealer that you bought it from. My bike was not in stock, so they went to L.A. to get one on a trade for a sportster. When it arrived to my dealership they test rode it. then bad news. I had to wait for them to fix some problems they found. They pretty much took everything apart and reassembled it. All i know is that i have not had one problem and am about to hit 5k after 3 mts. Some dealers are just to lazy to look over a bike and would rather have you come in and spend $60 an hour for labor then get it to you in the correct condition.

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying Buells are bad motorcycle; I'm just saying I have one of the bad 08/09 which also mean not all 08/09 have problems. My bike ran good for about 600 mi and then it started acting up at idle and it was smelling very rich. They noticed it on my 1000 mi service and tried to fix it as much as they can but since DDFI3 does not allow much tweaking well it came back even worst. So next time I got there they checked everything and found out my engine temp sensor was out of wack and they did play with the AFV. I took it out twice after that and everything seemed to be fine but on the third time well guess it it started to act up again which lead to this post. Now I'm waiting on my bike again but it's only going to be to put it in storage since it snowed here today. BTW it doesn't cost me a thing since it's all under warranty but it's still annoying because I have lost lot's of riding time because of all that.
