FYI, just to let you all know that I've been running a Dunlop 205 180/55/17 on the rear of my xb9r and I have exceeded 10k on it. It's a lot better mileage tire than the stock 207. And I have never had it slip on me anywhere, but then again I'm not trying to scrap my pegs either(but come real close).

is the 205 noticeably heavier than the 207 "light" ? how many miles did you have on the stock 207?

i used a 220 dunlop, same size as stock and wears much better if my bandit was any indication.i kinda think the weight thing is somethin buell says to get you to go back to the dealer for that SPECIAL tire.just a thought, but i couldnt tell any difference in the way it rides and handles.
