a 454 chevy 4x4 won't out run a Mustang GT"

LOL! Ain't that the truth. Those full size chevy's and Dodge ram hemi drivers think they are so fast!

I could have bought any bike. I bought the buell because it looks bad ass, sounds bad ass, has no messing chain to tighten (except the primary), no valves to adjust and gets great gas mileage.

Did I mention it looks bad ass?

I bought my mustang purely for the way it looked. It looked so good stock, that I spent all my extra money making it go faster.

Moose, my Dad has the 8.1 gasser in his 02 Silverado 2500HD, and has eaten an 02 GT on both standing stop and roll on highway ; )

The guy has everything short of nitro and forced induction. : )

I have forced induction and your daddy's punk card! LOL!

02 gt's don't have the power of the 05+. The 2005up gts run mid 13's stock.

By the way, nitrous oxide is forced induction.

The spoiler was removed during an off road adventure I took through a barbed wire fence. Had to get the whole car repainted and decided to delete the spoiler. Very few gt's out there with no spoiler, which makes it rare like the buell.

Piece of barbed wire stuck in my ex-spoiler. Built Ford tough isn't just BS!

Just for the record, I know that you can make a turbo diesel run like a scalded dog. I saw one make a 10 second pass at the track.

See, if it was a Chevy, which is like a rock, it never would of even phased it. Once I got kicked in the nuts and dropped to the floor, I said I was built Ford tough : )

Yep I know the turbo Duramax will destroy just about anything in the straights, but like I said before, my dads truck is gas! Did a quick little burnout with my bike in the back tonight : )

It had 10 inch dual white racing stripes before the accident. I haven't put them back on yet, not sure I will.

I was coming back from a car show and it had poured rain just before leaving (was still raining a little). I had my drag radials on the back and hit a dip in the road that was full of water. Hydroplaned off the road at about 55-60mph. The fence was those cheap steel posts that you see all over the place in florida and didn't do much damage to the car other than scratches every freaking where!

Drag radials are dot approved, but I won't run them again on the street. They float like a boat in just an inch of water.

Lucky for me and my wife I didn't spin out of control. It could have been worse. I just wish I had gotten a picture of the car in the cow pasture.

Nice Mustang, my cousin traded his in on a new Hemi Ram 4x4, it is not as fast as his mustang, according to him.

That Chevy truck comment was attended to those who buy Big harleys and think they can out run an XB12s. because their engine is bigger. No disrespect to Chevy guys.

I live in a town dominated by HD riders who just don't know about engines and power to weight ratios, plus gearing.

I know a guy with a Nissan titan that thinks it's fast. Maybe for a heavy truck, but it's not fast. There is no replacement for displacement as they say, but there is forced induction. The mustangs have always had smaller engines than the competition, but with a twin screw pushing 10lbs of boost, it's an 11 second car with a small engine.

People ask me how big my bike is all the time. I tell them 984cc and they say Wow, that must be fast! Most people are really ignorant of what fast really is or what it takes to be fast. There are little 4 cylinder evos running 8's in the 1/4, that's fast and scary!

Stay tuned for video of my 2005 xb9 against my 06 mustang gt. I'll be on the bike of course and my wife will be driving the car. It'll have to be a ricer roll race, because she would just sit and spin from a dig. I think the mustang has this one from a stop, it trapped 118 in the 1/4 mile and should be able to hit mid to high 11's consistently, but in a roll race with the hp:weight ratio, the buell looks to have the advantage.

Has anyone ran 11's on their xb9? I know buell claims it's capable of 11.9 or was that the 12, but I can't find many 1/4 mile times.

What was the topic of this post again?

I love when people say "What is it? 600? 750cc?" I reply 1203 and their jaw drops : )

I don't tell them I got less horse power than a Prius though...

...my buddy mocking out my Buell...but it's ok to change it up and go off topic. Us Buell riders can handle things of that nature!
