For my winter Ss-to-Firebolt project, I will of course be needing a set of Firebolt headlights. I plan on rigging it a bit differently than stock however... I want both fairing headlights to be high beam, and I'll mount two aftermarket lights to be my low beams. That said, what makes a high beam "high" on a Firebolt? Is there a difference in reflector angles, or is there an internal shield in one that creates the low beam? Is it possible to insert two stock high beams in the headlight mount, or is there some difference in the mount that prevents this? Thanks for any info! ~SM | ||

Is it possible to insert two stock high beams in the headlight mount Yes you can. IIRC the difference is shape of the reflector, and the small internal metal 'spoon' that dangles in front of the low beam light. | ||

Chainsaw is right. I know for a fact you can interchange them, as flip-flopping my lights was one of the first things I ever did to the Firebolt. Why? ...because I can. | ||
