I'm going to 04+ conversion on my 03 bolt..

Will a xb12s idler pulley work on my 03? It should I assume. On all 04+ 9's & 12's the rear sprocket is the same 65 tooth and the front is the same 27 tooth? Correct?

On all 04+ bikes, everything is the same between the 9 and 12. The gearing difference is in the primary case. 03, 04, 06, and 09 are the years they changed the belts : )

Yes, infact I just bought an 09 Belt for my SS.

Oh yea, thats the only difference I forgot to mention, R, S, SCG, SL, SX all use the same belt, while X, XT, XP, SS, STT got their own longer belt. Not sure what the deal with dem water buells yet : )

Doesn't American Sport Bike have the whole kit list and info on their site? Not that you have to buy everything from them but they are a sponsor and they have everything, I'm pretty sure.

Maybe I'm remembering a previous thread.

Look in the classifieds here. I know that I offer my extras to Buellers first for bargain basement prices before anyone else. Others do too I'm sure. Post in the "parts needed" category

I have the chain conversion kit! And am willing to part with it. PM if itnterested.

The 12 motor idler pulley arm is a bit different in length than the 9 pulley arm. The pulleys are the same just the arm is different.

I don't need a chain conversion. I already have one. I'm wanting to go back to belt.

My 09 belt was $175 before badweb discount, and $10 gift card for donating blood.

But I got the longer belt, the other belt is $160 if I remember right.
