Court- Three neat little things....OK, did I miss something or was that kind of a hint? My mind is racing through the possibilities. I like the way Erik builds things, so if it has two wheels I bet I'll like it. I'm hoping for a Uly version of a Blast, a Blast version of an XB/R (fuel in frame), and...a dirtbike? a scooter? a guitar? shoot, they all sound like fun. neuro |

Personally, I love the Thunderstorm engine. It's what gives the XB series its unique character. However I'd LOVE to see an updated tube style XB chassis. An American Ducati so to speak. |

I just purchased a Uly. I already have an 1125R, but I missed my XB12Ss so the Uly purchase. I love it! These are two special bikes that are very different but share one thing in common - they are both fun to ride!! When I got my Uly, I was riding it like my now old Road King. (must have been those bags!!) Then I got into some curves and pushed it and .... and... it is as fun in the corners as it is on the open road. (Duh, why am I surprised??) Hope I never have to make a choice between the two.... |

I think the lightning will be around for a long time but see the firebolt leaving us. Why have the firebolt when you can get the 1125. I know I'll piss off the firebolt owners but If I wanted a fairing, clip on grips, and something more of a crotch rocket , I would buy the 1125r over the FB. |

"Why have the firebolt when you can get the 1125." Just as the 1125r motivates some people, so does the air-cooled lump! As long as Buell can make them street legal, the XBs will still be around. |

I can't tell you how thrilled I am with my new Ulysses. . . . I've spent the last several weeks in amazement. This is the kind of riding that got me hooked on motorcycling. |

That's like saying why would anyone buy a 600cc bike when you could have a 1000cc bike. The firebolt is about 20% cheaper then the 1125R, has more power than most people will ever want, looks and sounds better, with a massive aftermarket. |
