Are fork sliders necessary on S model Buells with their handle bars. Looking to protect my bike in case of a get-off during track days. I have the frame pucks and plan on getting bar sliders and swing arm sliders. It doesn't look as though the fork should be in danger. |

Decide for yourself. http://www.darkhorsemoto.com/ Very cheap insurance. $70 for a pair of front and rear, hell of a lot cheaper than new forks and a swing arm. |

Seen pictures of messed up forks and swing arms. It's a small investment I have them. |

and if the bike does slide I don't think the handle bars will help much. I got mine at Dark Horse Moto to. nice fit and finish. |

The Sato ones are garbage, they were on my bike when i bought it. Cheap Chinese knock offs! Couldn't even get them off my bike for a tire change, had to cut them off. |
