We're having quite a nice November here in London actually, some lovely riding weather ( for winter you understand ). Took my TRX out today, Man is that a pig to ride compared to the XB! Tyres? I have Michelin Pilot Sports on the TRX from the last 2 tyre changes and ride all year round. Tyres are due on the XB any time now and im debating on some Michelins or Bridgestone BT56/010's I hear good things on the Bridgestones in the wet and great things about them in the dry. I had a puncture on my rear and replaced it with the Dunlop XX/XXX J instead of the U designation. I was tired of not being able to ride the bike, put it on anyway not wanting to wait another few days for another tire. Not much difference, but after comparing the weights, the U was much lighter. The handling went a little south also. Don’t know if this a concern of yours, but I really liked the handling of the stock tires, they stuck like glue. Can’t say much for the rain though, I live in California, where I am experiencing my first wet season on the XB. edited by kaese on November 15, 2003 | ||

thanks to you all , and in answer i got an "s" Lightning ,dunno 'bout the tyres..still on the original Dunlops (seem OK)but xb12's right, weather here's been fine. buckinfubba....frogs are are more convenient , have you ever tried putting a monkey in the blender when you're bored of it? Cheers | ||
