(Sorry if this is a repeat - didn't show in the forum) Anyone try filling the sports handlebar with silicon or foam to reduce vibration? Would it work?

I put aluminum bar ends and foam sport bike grips on my XB9r. It does help a bit.

I've heard of people putting lead shot in their handlebars for that reason. Seems like any added weight should help.

I've done it before on a XT600. I took off both grips and squirted in several tubes of silicone till it came out the other end. Did help.

just go ride a sportster around for a few hours. that will cure any vibration problem with the buell.

Don't get me wrong. I have never used or saw the need to use this product myself. My S3 and M2 has little to no vibration at anything above idle.
From what little time I have spent riding the XB's
they seem to have less vibration than the tube frame bikes.

Check these out. These are the most massive bar-end wieghts I've seen.

I'm not sure if they'll work on the XB-S. I wonder if these things stick out enough to act as frame guards?

For what those cost I would kick in a couple bucks more and get a throttle lock.

I use bar end mirrors with rubber mounts that double as dampers but I didn't notice much vibs in bars anyway. The mirrors just work 100% better and look 100% better for $60 a pair.

I installed the barsnake and the traction grips on my XB9SL. Due to the weather, I was unable to take a long ride, but it did not appear that there was any noticeable reduction in vibration.
