You can finally get a 1125R or XB belly pan without a race lic. You can also get just the upper fairing to protect your stock parts during track days.

Looks like the Sebimoto bodywork that's been available for a while... most pieces have to be fitted, drilled, and mounts may not be included. Call and get specifics before ordering, and there may be BadWeB sponsors selling the same stuff- check here first.

To buy actual BUELL RACE ONLY PARTS from Buell motor company, you need a race license.

look in the new buell acc. catalog and they say race only, but dont say you have to have a race license to get them.

where as things like the xbrr engine, magnesium wheels and some other things say current race license required

I've never seen a buell acc. catalog in my life.

I'm just going from what I've read/heard over the past years.

You need a racing license to purchase XBRR parts. Since it is an actual race only bike.

I've seen a buell acc. catalog. I laughed out loud when I seen it. It was like 2 pages.

Hey, slaughter, is that you racing the xb in your profile pic?

If so how would one go about getting a race license? I've been wondering this for some time, not that I want to race my bike. My pockets aren't that deep.

Getting a race license is pretty easy.
All ya gotta do is take a race class like Ed Bargy.

Late checking this thread - yep, that's me in the F-USA race in Las Vegas.

I am not sure which organizations run which courses in the Carolinas but WERA and CCS run national series and some courses (like Bargy's above) offer the ability to get a license. CCS used to have new racer school on Friday or Saturday and if you pass, first race on Sunday. Both WERA and CCS have decent web BBS and you can actually go there and post some questions.

WERA

CCS

I always recommend posting up as a NEWBIE - because you're really treated much better on a racing BBS than a sportbike board since NOBODY can BS anybody on a board where the same people may also be racing against you.
