My '08 XB12R runs perfect- no issues. DDFI (Digital Direct Fuel Injection- I think) is Buell's name for their proprietary fuel injection computer/software which has been updated over the years. It is currently outsourced from a company named IDS (Intelligent Design Solutions) and the 3rd generation is the most complex/sophisticated version to date.
