I'm asking because most of the complain I read about it are from people with 12's so I'm wondering if the 9's have the DDFI3 as well and if they have any trouble with it, if no problem well it might have something to do with the rest of the motor in our 12's.

2008 and newer Buells have DDFI-3, and not all of them are having trouble. My '08 XB12R runs perfect- no issues.

DDFI (Digital Direct Fuel Injection- I think) is Buell's name for their proprietary fuel injection computer/software which has been updated over the years. It is currently outsourced from a company named IDS (Intelligent Design Solutions) and the 3rd generation is the most complex/sophisticated version to date.
