Well, I just took the wheels off my '06 XB (5500 mi) for it's first set of new tires and noticed that the rear bearings have a LOT of drag in them. Just for kicks I put the axle through them and pushed the tire on the ground with the axle. With no load on it the bearings just spin on the axle but when I put a slight load on it they do spin. I don't feel any grinding or any kind of side-to-side play in them, they just feel a bit stiff. Is this normal or should I look into replacing them while I have it all tore apart?
