Anyone know where to go in Iowa for parts or service. I have figured out where not to go just by stopping in and looking around. I do very little business with dealerships, I have spent lots of money with the independent shops just because they know what it take to keep a good customer. I am in the Des Moines area, but I will travel. The people in Ottumwa, Ia at the Buell dealership seem to be very nice people. Who else?

im north of you in ames. you can always come look me up at my shop when you need stuff. even if its just to chat bikes or something. if you have had a problem at my shop you talked to the wrong person; ) lol. and if you did it wouldnt be the first time i went to bat for a fellow bueller and it wont be the last. i will help you out anyway i can. we have some excellent and honest techs in my shop(plus it never hurts to have me looking over their shoulder...) its always great to meet more buellers. plus there arent to many Ss's running around here.

just call or stop in and ask for me. or say you need something buell and you'll end up with me! that might have something to do with that fact that im the one at the shop with 4 buell's at home in my garage(i sold 2 of mine earlier this year)

either way, stop in id love to check out your Ss

Silver Eagle HD/Buell is a great dealership if you're a Buell guy. Not only are they a sponsor on my race bike, the sales manager, Troy Walbaum, is also a CCS roadracer and way quicker than me.

Troy is also a Buell race parts dealer for those who are addicted to the track.

The head Buell tech, Reese, has also been to a track day or two.

We have a very active riding group based in Waterloo called F.A.S.T. / Friends Actively Seeking Twisties. Check it out at http://www.waterloofast.blogspot.com/ and http://www.racingwithralph.blogspot.com/

I'd recommend Silver Eagle HD/Buell. When I was in Iowa I stopped there to check out the inventory and buy some parts for my XB. Super nice group and they actually know a thing or two about Buells. Unlike the local dealer here.
