My first run at the strip on my 08. I ran a 12.04 @ 114, lost by about 1/4 second. I am in the inside lane, racing a 05 R6 in the outside lane.

You two looked dead even at the end, but hard to tell by the distance.

Get some more practice, you can be running mid 11's soon : )

He passed me slowly in the last couple hundred feet. He didn't have much on me had I have launched better I could have held him off.

Well the video showed exactly how the 2 bikes work. The Buell's have power out of the hole, but run out of steam quick over 100mph.

The 4 bangers are just the opposite.

Yeah, I think a slight gearing change would help out for the 1/4 runs, go with something a little taller to use the torque a little better, that something I don't wanna go into though. Ah well the group I ride with can't really touch me on their 4 bangers as soon as the road gets twisty, drag racing is secondary to that lol.
