Author Message   Redbuell1203 Posted on Saturday, September 13, 2008 - 10:25 pm:        Okay does anyone know if the wheels on the Buell will fit on a Sportster? I liked the new bike I got and plenty satisfied w/ powerplant, but now that I have wire wheels I am not really impressed. I don't think the XL swingarm will accept a Buell-width wheel tire. They ran Buell wheels with ceramic bearings on the Cycle Connection Project V. I went to a 170/60R18 on my 2004 Sportster with no clearnace issues. Folks are right about the front - you're best bet will be to get an entire XB front end.   Buellinachinashop Posted on Monday, September 15, 2008 - 10:47 am:        I've seen XB wheels on a Vrod. The pre-2004 ones will not, without widening. Bolting on an XB front end to an XL is not difficult. I did it. (Message edited by puddlepirate on September 17, 2008)
