Anybody running the 1 1/8" bars?

I want to put them on my '06 CityX.

I like the looks of the precision engineering slim line combo.

Any ideas on where to get the bars themselves? I like black, but not wild about the logos on the pro tapers.

Going to talk to the guy at precision engineering about this on Monday, guess he is on vacay this week.
thanks

LSL and Renthal has fatbars.

I was going to install a set of fatbars on, but after totaling up the price (this will include there 1' riser/adapter and you will need this) for an approx. total with ship/tax of about $300, so I went with Pro Taper bar.

I have a set of 7/8" Pro-taper low rise bars that are already drilled for controls if you're interested. They are like brand new..They have about 15 minutes worth of riding on them. They just weren't for me. $40.00.

Fat bars don't have to cost $300.
Roxspeedfx.com offers several pivot risers starting at $90. Here's the link to the standard pivots:

Rockymountianatv.com has tons of reasonably priced bares. Any brand should work for they are all made for offroad use. They even have a closeout on Longhorns (6061 or 7075) right now. Here are the links for the closeouts and the bar section:

I think the fat bars are sweet, you will just need to do a custom job on the foam pad.

Precision Engineering has some really nice fat bar risers. Plus they are a sponsor here.

Damn it, Tattoo72. I shopped for bar risers for a month. Now you tell me.

Those risers look great! Anyone what a set of Rox-Shock Risers.

I wish I saw the Precision Engineering sight! I also shopped for three weeks plus before giving up on the Fat Bar. I just wasn't going to pay LSL pricing.

Thanks for all the great info/ideas.

The atv bars must be popular because they aren't so wide?

Those look really nice on there, Don!

Did you have to saw a little off the ends, or is that stock width?
