alright heres some answers for ya.

don't worry about the dent. everypipe we have recieved has had the dent in it up on the front. Now if it is somewhere else we can work around it and probably smooth it out if need be.
so KC and DB don't worry about it you to can be the proud owner of a drummer!!!!

dave
how the hell are ya. I ain't sure if ya picked my brain or if it just ooozed out on its own. It had some elixir that one evening to loosen it up.
I have your email I will send ya all the info ya need.

Now as far as a name plate I will have to ask kevin about that. We had no plans for it. maybe we could make a stencil and paint it on. now what it would say I don't know. maybe...

modified, ripped apart and torched with love in the hills of NC by 2 guys that speak different languages and say "huh what" alot to each other all for those buellers out there that just love a good idea that works.

ok maybe that is too long maybe:

THE DRUMMER...f%CK THE EPA!!!!!!

YEAH i LIKE THAT ONE

I just wanted to say something real quick to those that seem to need a brand name product.

The verdict is still out on the new jardine pipe but heres my point. Go buy 6 of the leading pipe makes and tear them apart. They are damn near I dentical.
Only 2 pipes on the market have been tuned to the xb engines. Not the other way around. The race kit and the drummer and we know which one works better.
The force pipe doesn't count in this because you must tune the engine to make it all work correctly. Which incures even more money .
I just needed to get that off my chest.

Sure it can.
But it's cheaper the fewer colors you use.
May be cheaper to just have some tags made up of aluminium, and tack them on.

Brian, you've got mail...but I'll post my question to you here as well. I have an XB12S with an extra XB9R muffler up in the attic. Can the XB9 muffler be "Drummified" to fit the XB12?

buckinfubba,
I own an XB12S and have been reading about the drummer pipe, do you have any pictures of it and finish choices? I did see some prices you quoted a guy in Australia, what are the local prices? Include also the air filter $ and chip $ as well, thanks. Here's a link for pictures of my bike in current form. I want to add some carbon fiber pieces to it and an exhaust system. http://www.sportbikes.com/wwwthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=rant&Number=561774& page=1&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=12&vc=1

Its $350 for the pipe if you send us yours which is what we prefer.
$450 if you don't
with bad web discount from Tilley buell
ecm is $188.95
air filter $58.45

the finish is black with a stainless steel out let.

Hey Bri, I looked but I couldn't find any charts for the Drummer on a 9 with the 1050 kit from Nallin. I suspect that this combination has not yet occurred, but it would still be cool to see if anyone out there has a 1050 XB. Just being a pain in the ass. :D

B,
thanks for the quick reply. Would you need the pipe before selling the system? If so, how long would it take for the turn around so I can plan on having my bike parked... do you have shipping prices to Arizona and would there be tax involved?

No tax involved. The price of $350 includes shipping and the turn around is just shipping when your shows up we take it out of the box and put the drummer in and send it back. So from az you looking at about 8 business days.
call me at tilley's for the ecm and filter. We need to pay for those thru Tilley's as they are not part of this pipe.
