When I went to the dealer to sign for my 09 scg I saw a red 1125CR, at the first look it looked alot better then it does in pics but still I can't really say if I like it or not. I sat on it looked at it from every angle and the two things that I can't seem to get over are the fuggly head light and the 1125r tail which I think they should have done in a style more like the lightning's tails.

What I think everyone wants is an XB ( pick your model) with the 1125 engine. Just like on the Harley side, folks don't want the vrod, they want a electra glide with the vrod engine. At least that is what would entice me to buy one.

I'm with Ironhead!

turn my XB9S into an XB1125S and you can say SOLD!!!!!

even though the 1125 series is nice, put all of it in an XB chassis and it would be nicer!!! HEHE

That's the exact sentiment I shared here, and got nuclear flamed by the 1125R board. The early photo shop renderings of an XB with a Rotax engine in it that all the magazines printed as the hint for a "new" Buell made me drool. When the actual 1125 appeared- I puked. I still get upset about what a shame it is because there is so much potential being wasted. Maybe someday there'll be a liquid-cooled Buell I'd be proud to own.

Point, nice list and I would ad a Benelli TNT to it

How did the dang Canadiens get one before us go figure?

Well I got about the same surprise when I saw it.

That would be one sweet XB 1125R. I wish someone with authority at Buell would take that picture and hand it to the engineers and say build this.

Catterson got a bit wrong in that article...kinda like the H2O Sporty he reported on a few months prior to that.

Just sayin.

Fastxb12r- I'm drooling on the keyboard! Why oh why could they not just build that bike?! Instead, we're stuck with an amoeba-jellybean abortion. It's a real shame.

Funny, I wonder if the tuber people said the same thing about the XBs when they came out? Face it, we are the ones getting old and crotchety now.

I'll be the first to admit that the new Rotax powered Buell wasn't what I was hoping for but these days when I see an 1125 at the dealership I think I kinda like 'em -- I'm even starting to consider the CR. Personally, I am happy that Buell has brought something new to market because just like I don't want a Gixxer, some people might not want a XB but they do like the idea of a Buell. If Erik wanted to please everyone they never would have made the bikes they have so I say more power to them.

And yeah, they make a 1125Scg and I will be having a hard time not getting one...maybe with a restyled S type tail that has something other than a cheese grater (and maybe something easier to remove once you take it home).
